Focus On Youth
As with any industry sector the future lies with our youth, and through our investment we hope to encourage their continued involvement in the agricultural sector.
Kids Area presented by New Country 95.5
This year, Agri-Trade welcomes back the Kids Area in the Exhibition Hall Lobby! Families can look forward to games and activities happening throughout the day, along with an ag-themed face painter bringing farm-inspired designs to life.
Face Painter:
Wed & Thurs: 11 am- 4 pm
Fri: 10 am- 4 pm
BURSARIES
Supporting students in their educational journey is a key priority for Agri-Trade. In 2025, we are contributing $7,500 each to Red Deer Polytechnic, Lakeland College, and Olds College—a total of $22,500 in bursaries to help deserving agricultural students from across Alberta pursue their studies and future careers. Since 1996, Agri-Trade has supported agricultural students in their studies at Red Deer Polytechnic, Olds College and Lakeland College with over $345,000 in bursaries!
ALBERTA 4-H
Agri-Trade is proud to support Alberta 4-H, an organization that plays a vital role in developing future leaders in agriculture. To encourage youth involvement, we are offering free admission to all 4-H members who present a valid membership card at the show.
We’re also excited to welcome Alberta 4-H Alumni, who will be hosting our Information Booths throughout the event. Be sure to stop by, ask questions, and connect with this dynamic group. Agri-Trade proudly contributes to their annual ski trip, supporting the continued growth of the 4-H community.
