The Salon areas at the front of the Prairie Pavilion are filled with exhibits to please the families visiting Agri-Trade. Home products and services are in abundance in the Home Happenings area. It's a great place to shop for Christmas and a wonderful environment to see new ideas in home care items and a fun place to enjoy and sample the variety of food and beverage products that are offered.
A visit to Agri-Trade is not complete until you visit the spacious Harvest Centre, new home of the annual Agri-Trade collector toy show. Jim Brown (Trophy Loft) is the organizer of this unique assembly of farm toy collectors and exhibitors from all over Western Canada. The farm toys are a fitting complement to the overall theme of the Agri-Trade event. You will be amazed and entertained by the intricacy of some of the models on display.
Agri-Trade is very involved in bursary support for Olds College and Red Deer College. Each year, four students from each college are awarded generous bursaries from Agri-Trade. The organization is pleased to be able to support the bright future of agriculture in this way.
All week at Agri-Trade, a variety of presenters will be delivering important and detailed information on a variety of ag subjects, on the Fortis Alberta/AgriTrend Agrology Learning Stage. It’s an opportunity to relax and learn, so grab a coffee and drop in. The Learning Stage is located in the northwest corner of the Monsanto Dekalb Pavilion. The full session schedule will be published soon at http://reddeerchamber.exwaresolutions.com/Agri-Trade/agritrend.html
